Job summary

Sungrow MENA & Central Asia is seeking a senior technical leader to drive the integration of BESS and PV in national grids. You will design high-penetration renewable power systems, ensure compliance with grid codes, and deliver innovative grid-forming solutions for weak grids.

You will supervise advanced simulations (PSCAD, PSS/E, DIgSILENT PowerFactory, ETAP, MATLAB) and lead HIL validation using RTDS/RT-Lab, while collaborating with global teams.

Qualifications

• Master’s in Electrical Engineering or equivalent required.
• PhD in Power Systems or related field preferred.
• Deep knowledge of grid support and grid-forming technologies.
• Experience with utility-scale BESS and PV integration.

Responsibilities

• Lead integration discussions for BESS and PV into national grids.
• Plan and design complex power systems with high renewables penetration.
• Provide innovative solutions for grid connection challenges.
• Apply grid-forming tech for stability in weak grids.
• Supervise RMS/EMT simulations with PSCAD, PSS/E, DIgSILENT, ETAP, MATLAB.
• Guide HIL testing with RTDS or RT-Lab before deployment.
• Bridge between R&D and market; support technical marketing and sales.
