Job summary

Snowflake is seeking an Enterprise Account Executive to drive net-new enterprise business in the South Africa market from Dubai. You will prospect, develop opportunities, and manage the full sales cycle from initial contact through close, building relationships with C-level stakeholders and tailoring Snowflake solutions to client IT roadmaps.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of field sales experience, especially data or cloud tech.
• 5+ years generating net-new business in the META region, specifically South Africa.
• Proven ability to independently prospect, develop and close new client relationships.
• Experience achieving a quota of $1M+ ARR per year.
• Strong track record of prospecting, pipeline, new-logo acquisition and quota achievement.
• Experience determining customer IT requirements and presenting Snowflake solutions.
• Proactive, independent mindset with high energy and strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Drive net-new enterprise business and logo acquisition across the allocated territory, with a strong focus on prospecting and winning new customers.
• Achieve sales quotas for allocated prospective accounts on a quarterly and annual basis by developing a sales strategy in the allocated territory with a target prospect list and regional sales plan.
• Develop marketing plans with the marketing team to drive pipeline and revenue growth.
• Be the trusted advisor to prospective customers by understanding their existing and future IT roadmap to drive the Snowflake solution within the marketplace.
• Qualify prospects and develop new sales opportunities and revenue streams.
• Arrange and conduct initial executive and CxO discussions and positioning meetings.
• Manage the full sales process from prospecting and qualification through negotiation and close.
• Support newly acquired customers to ensure a successful transition and onboarding experience.
• Use a solution-based approach to selling, manage complex sales processes, and demonstrate excellent presentation, listening, organization, and contact-management skills.
