Job summary

Confidential Company is seeking an experienced Head of Training to establish and lead the Training Academy in Dubai. The role will build the function from the ground up, develop learning strategies and programmes, and ensure compliance with UAE healthcare regulations.

You will recruit and mentor trainers, collaborate with department heads, and drive a culture of continuous learning and excellence across the organization.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years in Training/Learning Development or Academy Management.
• At least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Experience establishing or leading a training academy.
• Curriculum development and SOP creation expertise.
• Knowledge of UAE healthcare regulations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establish and lead the Training Academy.
• Develop learning strategy and programmes.
• Design curricula, competency frameworks, SOPs, and learning materials.
• Develop onboarding, technical leadership, and continuous learning programmes.
• Collaborate with department heads to identify training needs and implement effective learning solutions.
• Ensure training programmes comply with DHA MOHAP DOH and organisational quality standards.
• Maintain training records competency assessments and support regulatory audits and accreditation.
• Monitor training effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.
• Recruit, mentor and manage trainers as the academy grows.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and lead the Training Academy
• Develop the organisation s learning and development strategy
• Design training curricula competency frameworks SOPs and learning materials
• Develop onboarding technical leadership and continuous learning programmes
• Collaborate with department heads to identify training needs and implement effective learning solutions
• Ensure training programmes comply with DHA MOHAP DOH and organisational quality standards
• Maintain training records competency assessments and support regulatory audits and accreditation

Requirements

• Bachelor s degree in Education Healthcare Human Resources Business or a related field
• Minimum 8 years of experience in Training Learning Development or Academy Management including at least 3 years in a leadership role
• Proven experience establishing or leading a training academy or corporate learning function
• Strong experience in curriculum development SOP creation competency frameworks and training programme design
• Knowledge of UAE healthcare regulations and accreditation standards is preferred
• Excellent leadership communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Experience

Preferred ExperienceExperience in healthcare, aesthetics, dermatology, hospitals, clinics, or other regulated industries.Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and competency-based learning.
