Position Overview

We’re looking for an experienced Head of Security Operations to lead and grow our Security Operations Center (SOC) in Dubai.

This critical leadership role involves shaping our security operations strategy, managing a team of experts, and advancing the use of Fortinet technologies to safeguard our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and scale the SOC team—comprising analysts, engineers, and incident responders.
• Define and execute the SOC’s strategic roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals and compliance standards.
• Deploy, manage, and optimize Fortinet solutions, including FortiGate, FortiAnalyzer, FortiManager, and FortiSIEM.
• Oversee threat detection, incident triage, forensic investigations, and incident response efforts.
• Establish and maintain SOC processes, playbooks, and escalation protocols in line with Fortinet best practices and international standards (NIST, MITRE ATT&CK, ISO 27001).

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• 8–10 years of professional cybersecurity experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within a SOC.
• In-depth expertise in SIEM, IDS / IPS, endpoint protection, and incident response frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of compliance and security frameworks such as NIST, MITRE ATT&CK, ISO 27001, and PCI-DSS.
• Practical experience with data pipelines, ETL processes, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Preferred (Nice-to-Have)

• Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
• Professional certifications such as Fortinet NSE 7 / 8, CISSP, CISM, or GIAC.
