Simone's Tutoring offers handwriting intervention for learners with dyslexia and learning differences across Dubai. Sessions can be conducted at students’ homes, online, or at schools, with a structured, multisensory teaching approach and bespoke handwriting programmes.

Assess learners’ handwriting, pencil grip, letter formation, spacing, alignment, writing speed, and written organisation
Develop personalised handwriting programmes based on each learner’s strengths and needs
Teach clear and consistent letter formation using structured, multisensory approaches
Support learners with handwriting fluency, spelling, sentence construction, and written expression
Improve writing speed and stamina without compromising legibility
Teach appropriate posture, paper positioning, pencil control, and ergonomic writing habits
Use visual, tactile, auditory, and kinaesthetic strategies to reinforce learning
Support learners with planning, sequencing, copying, note-taking, and written task completion
Introduce assistive tools, adapted resources, or alternative methods of recording work where appropriate
Build learners’ confidence and reduce frustration or anxiety related to handwriting
Monitor progress and provide practical feedback to students and parents
Collaborate with teachers, learning support specialists, occupational therapists, and other professionals where appropriate
Refer learners for specialist assessment when difficulties fall outside the scope of educational tutoring
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Special Education, English, Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Learning Support, or a related field
MOHRE Tutor Permit or eligibility to obtain
Minimum 2 years’ experience supporting learners with dyslexia, dysgraphia, ADHD, or related learning differences
Strong understanding of handwriting development, literacy, and differentiated instruction
Experience delivering personalised one-to-one educational support
Qualification or certification in dyslexia support, structured literacy, special educational needs, or handwriting intervention
Training in multisensory teaching approaches
Experience working with learners who have dysgraphia, developmental coordination disorder, or fine-motor difficulties
Knowledge of assistive technology and examination access arrangements
Experience collaborating with occupational therapists, SENCOs, schools, or multidisciplinary teams
Tutors and educational specialists operating in the UAE are required to hold a valid MOHRE Tutor Permit or equivalent work authorisation. Applicants must hold, or be eligible to obtain, the relevant permit before providing in-person services. Please ensure compliance with UAE Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation regulations.
