Job summary

Saadiyat Rotana Resort & Villas in Abu Dhabi is seeking a dynamic Front Desk Agent to deliver professional, guest-focused service from arrival to departure.

You will greet guests by name, escort to rooms, assist with activity enquiries, maintain knowledge of hotel facilities, manage cashiering, process check-ins/outs, and protect guest privacy. Proficiency in English is essential; knowledge of an additional language and Opera system are a plus.

Qualifications

• Degree in hospitality with front office experience preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills; additional languages a plus.
• Interpersonal and problem-solving abilities are essential.
• Computer literacy; Opera knowledge is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, courteous, efficient service to guests from arrival to departure.
• Greet guests personally by name and escort them to their rooms.
• Assist guests with hotel activity inquiries and requests; provide local information.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of hotel facilities, hours, promotions, events and services.
• Monitor rate levels and occupancy to optimize selling opportunities.
• Administer front office cashiering standards and policies; ensure accurate postings.
• Process check-in and check-out, ensuring accurate incidental postings.
• Maintain guest privacy and confidentiality at all times.
• Demonstrate understanding of hotel policies, procedures and service standards.
