Job summary

Novotel & ibis Balikpapan in Ras al-Khaimah (UAE) is seeking a Reservations Agent to start an exceptional guest journey. You will greet guests, handle room reservations, enter and update details in the system, and maximize revenue through thoughtful upselling.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of experience with a 5-star hotel/resort in the UAE, fluent English, strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills, and familiarity with Opera PMS is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as Reservations Agent for a 5-star hotel/resort in UAE.
• Guest-focused personality with strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus; Opera experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Consistently offer exceptional, friendly and engaging service.
• Maximize revenue through up-selling while ensuring the best guest selection.
• Recommend property facilities and assist guests with information and special requests.
• Book room reservations, enter rooming lists and update guest information in the system.
