Job summary

Rixos Hotels Gulf in Abu Dhabi is seeking a professional Reservation Agent to join our reservations team. You will handle room inquiries and bookings via phone, email, and online channels, delivering personalized service while supporting revenue and occupancy goals.

You will maintain guest records in the PMS, answer inquiries promptly, upsell packages, and coordinate with Front Office, Sales, Housekeeping, and other departments to ensure smooth guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience in Front Office, Reservations, or Sales, preferably in the hospitality industry
• Excellent command of English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus
• Proficiency in Opera PMS and Microsoft Office applications
• Flexible availability to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service

Responsibilities

• Handle room reservation inquiries, bookings, modifications, and cancellations efficiently.
• Provide accurate information on room availability, rates, packages, and hotel facilities.
• Maintain accurate guest and reservation records in the hotel PMS/booking system.
• Respond promptly and professionally to calls, emails, and online booking requests.
• Upsell room categories, packages, and additional hotel services to maximize revenue.
• Coordinate with Front Office, Sales, Housekeeping, and other departments to ensure smooth guest service.
• Follow hotel reservation policies and achieve departmental targets for occupancy, revenue, and guest satisfaction.
