Job summary

Rixos Premium Saadiyat Island is seeking a Reservation Agent to manage guest reservations, respond to inquiries, and coordinate with hotel departments to optimize occupancy and guest satisfaction.

The role requires strong guest service, communication skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. English and Russian fluency is a plus; on-site full-time position under the Accor Heartists brand.

Qualifications

• 1 year hotel experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Handle reservation requests via telephone, email, online channels and other booking platforms.
• Process individual, group, corporate and special-event reservations accurately.
• Provide guests with room types, rates, packages, promotions and services.
• Recommend suitable room options and upsell where appropriate.
• Confirm, modify and cancel reservations per hotel policies.
• Maintain guest profiles and booking details in the reservation system.
• Coordinate with Front Office, Sales, Revenue Management and Housekeeping.
• Monitor availability, rates and inventory to support revenue optimization.
• Respond to inquiries, complaints, and special requests promptly and professionally.
• Assist Reservations Manager with daily reports and administrative tasks.

Job description

The Reservation Agent is responsible for handling hotel room reservations and ensuring a smooth and efficient booking experience for guests. The role involves responding to reservation inquiries processing bookings maintaining accurate guest information and coordinating with other hotel departments to maximize occupancy and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle incoming reservation requests via telephone email online channels and other booking platforms.
• Process individual group corporate and special-event reservations accurately.
• Provide guests with information about room types rates packages promotions hotel facilities and services.
• Recommend suitable room options and upsell room categories packages and additional hotel services when appropriate.
• Confirm modify and cancel reservations according to hotel policies.
• Maintain accurate guest profiles booking details payment information and special requests in the hotel reservation system.
• Coordinate with Front Office Sales Revenue Management Housekeeping and other departments to ensure guest requirements are communicated effectively.
• Monitor room availability rates restrictions and inventory to support revenue optimization.
• Follow Rixos brand standards and company policies when handling guest interactions and reservations.
• Respond promptly and professionally to guest inquiries complaints and special requests.
• Ensure all reservations are properly documented and guarantee/payment procedures are followed.
• Assist with managing overbookings no-shows cancellations and other reservation-related issues.
• Maintain confidentiality of guest and company information.
• Support the Reservations Manager and team with daily reports and administrative tasks.
• Maintain a high level of customer service and contribute to positive guest experiences.

Qualifications :

• Passion for guest service.
• Excellent written and verbal communication interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Highly organized results-oriented with the ability to be flexible and work well under pressure.
• Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management is an asset.
• Fluency in English and Russian and oradditional language is a plus
• Minimum of 1 year previous Hotel experience is an asset.
• Must have the ability to handle a multitude of tasks and Guest requests.
• Knowledge of Property Management Systems such asPOS is an asset.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize responsibilities.
• Experience with a Hotel loyalty program an asset.
• Computer proficiency in a Windows environment (Word Excel PowerPoint).
