Job summary

Rixos Bab Al Bahr seeks a courteous Host/Hostess to welcome guests, manage reservations, and seat guests with efficiency and care. You will maintain the hostess station, ensure tables are properly set, and coordinate with the restaurant team to deliver a seamless dining experience.

The role requires a Diploma or degree in vocational hospitality, with fresher or 1 year of experience in a 4-5 star hotel. Excellent guest relations and professional appearance are essential.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests at the restaurant entrance and seat them according to the floor plan
• Manage reservations and cancellations and update management on changes
• Maintain hostess stand, menus, and check folders in good order
• Ensure tables are set correctly and guest needs are anticipated and met
• Maintain high standards of personal appearance, hygiene and uniform
• Provide friendly, courteous and professional service at all times
• Be familiar with hotel services to respond to guest inquiries accurately
• Handle guest complaints following approved procedures and ensure satisfaction
