Job summary

Rixos Hotels is seeking a Waiter/Waitress for its Ras Al Khaimah outlet to deliver warm, professional food and beverage service while creating a welcoming experience for every guest. You will follow service standards and work closely with the team to ensure smooth operations.

Flexible to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays. Requires knowledge of F&B service, strong communication, and a guest-focused approach to upsell menu items and maintain high hygiene standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Hospitality or related field preferred.
• Previous food and beverage service experience in a four- or five-star hotel is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of food and beverage service with the ability to recommend menu items and upsell.
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, guest-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests, answer enquiries, and build relationships through attentive service.
• Know the food and beverage menu, recommend suitable options, and upsell.
• Complete opening and closing duties and keep the outlet clean and ready for service.
• Respond to guest concerns promptly and refer unresolved issues to the Team Leader for follow-up.
• Monitor supplies, minimise waste, and assist with inventories.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and health and safety procedures, and participate in training.
