Responsibilities

• Maintain complete knowledge of dining room layout, table/seat/section numbers and dress code.
• Answer telephone within 3 rings, using correct salutations and etiquette.
• Record and confirm restaurant reservations / cancellations.
• Greet guests at the entrance and seat them according to floor plan.
• Ensure tables are set and the hostess stand is organized.
• Read and enforce hotel and department rules to ensure guest satisfaction.
