Job summary

Rixos Al Mairid Ras Al Khaimah is seeking a waiter/waitress to deliver warm, professional food and beverage service, ensuring a welcoming guest experience. You will adhere to resort standards and collaborate with the team to keep outlets running smoothly.

The role requires ensuring guests’ needs are met, with upselling opportunities and strict adherence to safety and hygiene guidelines. Flexible shifts and team-oriented atmosphere are provided.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Hospitality or a related field is preferred.
• Previous food and beverage service experience in a four- or five-star hotel is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of food and beverage service, with the ability to recommend menu items and upsell.
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, guest-focused approach.
• Understanding of food safety, hygiene, and health and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests, answer enquiries, and build positive relationships through attentive service.
• Know the food and beverage menu, recommend suitable options, and upsell where appropriate.
• Complete opening and closing duties and keep the outlet clean, organised, and ready for service.
• Respond to guest concerns promptly and refer unresolved issues to the Team Leader for follow-up.
• Monitor supplies, minimise waste, and assist with operating equipment inventories.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, health and safety procedures, and participate in required training.
