Job summary

RIXOS in Ras Al Khaimah is seeking a friendly Hostess to create a warm first impression and guide guests to tables. You will manage reservations, welcomes, and coordinate with team to ensure smooth service.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, handling telephone inquiries, monitoring wait lists, and maintaining a clean hostess area. English speaking is essential, with Arabic or Russian language skills seen as a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience as a Hostess or in a similar food and beverage role.
• Strong guest service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to greet guests and manage reservations efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and escort them to their assigned tables.
• Manage restaurant reservations, cancellations, table assignments and special requests.
• Maintain accurate knowledge of restaurant layouts, operating hours, menus, promotions and hotel services.
• Answer telephone enquiries professionally and according to service standards.
• Monitor guest flow and organize waiting lists during busy periods.
• Anticipate guest needs, respond promptly to enquiries and assist with resolving concerns.
• Conduct table visits and coordinate with the team to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Maintain a clean, organized and well-presented hostess desk and dining area.
• Support menu preparation, cashiering procedures and restaurant operations when required.
• Work closely with colleagues to deliver friendly, efficient and professional service.
