Job summary

Accor’s Novotel Abu Dhabi Gate in Abu Dhabi is seeking a friendly Front Office Intern to gain hands-on experience in guest services, check-in/check-out, and day-to-day front office operations. You will develop communication and hospitality skills while supporting reservations, inquiries, and collaborating with Concierge and Guest Relations to ensure a seamless guest experience.

Currently pursuing a hospitality degree and fluent in English are preferred.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality, Hotel Management, Tourism, or a related field.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in English (verbal and written); additional languages are a plus
• Warm, outgoing, and service-oriented personality
• Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
• Strong knowledge of Abu Dhabi and its tourist attractions
• Basic computer skills; familiarity with Opera or similar hotel management software is preferred
• Passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences
• Adaptability to work in a multicultural environment
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask efficiently
• Additional Language is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests with warmth, professionalism, and a genuine smile
• Provide personalized check‑in and check‑out experiences
• Assist guests with inquiries, directions, and hotel information
• Offer welcome beverages or amenities upon arrival, based on guest status or preferences
• Coordinate with Front Office, Concierge, and Guest Relations to ensure a seamless guest experience
• Maintain a visible presence in the lobby and be available to assist guests
• Promote hotel services, facilities, and ongoing promotions
• Handle guest feedback and resolve issues
• Ensure guest preferences and special requests are recorded and communicated effectively
• Maintain a polished and professional appearance in line with brand standards
• Anticipate guest needs and offer relevant recommendations to enhance their stay
