Job summary

EDITION Hotels seeks a dedicated Front Desk/Guest Services Associate in Downtown Dubai to handle guest calls, assist with wake-up requests, operate the switchboard, and relay messages. You will guide guests on internet access and coordinate with bell staff to ensure smooth service.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Related Work Experience: No related work experience.
• Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience.
• License or Certification: None

Responsibilities

• Answer, record, log, and process all guest calls, requests, questions, or concerns.
• Operate telephone switchboard station.
• Process wake-up calls, screening calls, do not disturb, call forwarding, conference calls, TDD relay calls, and non-registered guest calls.
• Advise guest of any messages received.
• Monitor lines, update status, and take messages as needed.
• Activate/deactivate guest room message lights and instruct guests on internet access; transfer to provider support.
• Test communications equipment and respond to special guest requests.
• Coordinate with appropriate department to resolve calls or problems; follow up for satisfaction.
• Dispatch bell staff or valet staff as needed; maintain professionalism and confidentiality.
