Job summary

Yas Plaza Hotels by Aldar Hospitality in Abu Dhabi seeks an Agent, Guest Relations to ensure exceptional guest experiences by anticipating needs and providing personalized assistance throughout stays. You will serve as the primary contact, resolve inquiries, and create memorable moments that exceed expectations.

Responsibilities include welcoming guests, coordinating requests, assisting with VIP arrivals, and collaborating with Front Office to ensure smooth check-in/check-out.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in guest relations, concierge, or hospitality is preferred.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and empathy in handling difficult situations.
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of local attractions, restaurants and transport is an advantage.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Fluent in English.
• Additional languages (Chinese, Russian, Arabic, Spanish, or French) are advantages depending on requirements.

Responsibilities

• Warmly welcome guests upon arrival and provide personalized assistance throughout their stay.
• Anticipate guests' needs and preferences to enhance their experience.
• Coordinate special requests and arrangements for guests (restaurants, transport, celebrations).
• Handle inquiries, comments and complaints promptly and professionally.
• Conduct regular checks with guests to ensure comfort and address concerns.
• Provide information about hotel facilities and local attractions.
• Act as liaison between guests and other hotel departments.
• Maintain accurate guest records and confidentiality.
• Assist with VIP arrivals and departures with personalized amenities.
• Collaborate with Front Office to ensure smooth check-in/out and guest satisfaction.
• Stay updated on promotions, events and policies.
• Assist with special projects as assigned by Guest Relations Manager.
• Demonstrate service attributes per industry expectations and company standards.
