Job summary

Park Hyatt Abu Dhabi, operated by Hyatt, seeks a Sales Coordinator - Groups & Events to support department efficiency in line with Hyatt standards. You will handle group and banqueting leads, maintain client relationships from initial proposal to onsite liaison, and coordinate with sales managers on corporate issues.

Proficiency in Opera/Envision, strong MS Office skills, and exceptional interpersonal abilities are essential.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal skills to deal effectively with business contacts and maintain a professional appearance.
• Good knowledge of MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Handle leads from the sales team and direct client inquiries for group and banqueting requests.
• Maintain close liaison with clients from proposal to onsite coordination between hotel and organizer.
• Coordinate with sales account managers on corporate or group issues and track bookings for confirmation.
• Review weekly function blocks to keep live business on the books and traced.
• Develop conference and incentive sales proposals to win Park Hyatt Abu Dhabi business.
• Gain proficiency in Opera and Envision to check reservations, room type availability, and function space.
• Apply correct booking procedures for group room allocations, meeting setups, catering terms, and contracts.
• Ensure events are executed in an innovative, stylish fashion reflecting positively on the client’s event and brand.
• Attend and participate in site inspections.
