Job summary

Park Hyatt Abu Dhabi is seeking a Sales Coordinator to support the seamless operation of the sales department in line with Hyatt standards. You will liaise with account managers on corporate and group issues and help ensure accurate reservation and booking procedures.

The role requires strong product knowledge, proficiency in MS Office, and the ability to participate in site inspections and up-sell where appropriate.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal skills to deal effectively with business contacts and maintain a professional appearance.
• Proficient with MS Office applications.
• Experience as Sales Coordinator and familiarity with GCC region is an added benefit.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with sales account managers on corporate or group issues and maintain internal communication.
• Develop strong knowledge of Opera and Envision systems to check reservations, room availability, and function space.
• Demonstrate strong hotel product knowledge and up-sell effectively.
• Ensure correct booking procedures for group room allocations, meeting setups, catering terms, and contracts.
• Attend and participate in site inspections.

Summary

Sales Coordinator

You will be responsible to assist with the efficient running of the department in line with Hyatt's Corporate Strategies and brand standards, whilst meeting employee, guest and owner expectations.

• Liaise with sales account managers on any corporate or group issues and activities as required, maintaining communication internally
• To develop an excellent knowledge of Opera and Envision systems in order to be competent in checking reservations, room type availability, and function space availability.
• To have the strong hotel product knowledge and be well versed in up-selling techniques.
• To ensure correct booking procedures are applied in relation to group room allocations, meeting set-ups, catering terms and contractual agreements.
• Attend and participate in site inspections.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal skills in order to deal effectively with all business contacts, maintain a professional, neat and well-groomed appearance.
• Good knowledge of MS Office.
• Work experience as a Sales Coordinator and within the GCC region is an added benefit.
