Job summary

HSBC UAE is seeking a Sales Manager for Global Trade Solutions (UAE Nationals Only) in Dubai. You will drive revenue growth across working-capital and trade finance products by managing a portfolio of corporate clients and delivering tailored GTS solutions.

The role requires proven sales and business-development experience in trade or corporate banking, strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, and the ability to work with internal teams to win new business while adhering to risk and control

Qualifications

• A graduation degree is essential for obtaining a work permit.
• Knowledge of global trade finance, structured trade products, market trends and competitive environment.
• Proven sales and business-development experience, preferably in trade finance, transaction banking or corporate banking.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, negotiation, presentation and influencing skills.
• Sound analytical, decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
• Working knowledge of credit and risk management, including risk-mitigation techniques.
• Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise work and meet critical deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Drive revenue growth through working-capital management products and services.
• Retain and increase wallet share across existing clients and group companies.
• Identify opportunities to sell additional GTS products and generate new income.
• Develop strategies to win new-to-bank and new-to-trade clients.
• Collaborate with Senior Bankers, Global Relationship Bankers, product teams and other stakeholders.
• Assess market trends and client requirements to recommend appropriate GTS solutions.
• Partner with Client Services and implementation teams to support efficient execution for complex clients.
• Operate in accordance with all internal policies, procedures and control frameworks.
