Job summary

Bathco Group seeks a Middle Office & Logistics Specialist to manage the full trade lifecycle in our Zurich operations. You will coordinate trading, logistics, and trade finance, negotiate rates, and organize global transportation for aluminium and related materials.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years in logistics, strong Excel skills, and proficiency in English and German, with attention to detail and a proactive service mindset.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of logistics/administration experience, preferably global and in metal/aluminium
• Experience with vessel chartering and laytime calculations
• Knowledge of bulk materials and bulk shipping
• Familiarity with containerised freight and shipping documents
• Experience with letters of credit is a plus
• Strong Excel and IT skills; fluent in English and German

Responsibilities

• Coordinate trading, logistics, trade finance, hedging and middle office through the full trade lifecycle
• Negotiate rates and freights; optimize logistics to improve profitability
• Arrange transportation of goods with customers and suppliers globally
• Collaborate with trading and other stakeholders to ensure smooth contract execution
• Issue customer documentation per contracts and legal requirements
• Manage warehouse and stock allocation
• Identify and implement process improvements to raise service quality
• Update internal sales/trading systems regularly
• Develop analysis and reporting tools around logistics
