Job summary

GatesourceHRUS partners with a rapidly growing international industrial and mining conglomerate to appoint a COO – Metallurgy Division. Based across continents, you will drive operational excellence, oversee multi-site plants, and lead strategic acquisitions, with a focus on safety, sustainability, profitability, and growth.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in senior operational roles in metallurgy, mining or heavy industry.
• Experience leading multi-site, multi-country operations across continents.
• Strong strategic, financial and operational acumen.
• Willingness to travel extensively internationally.

Responsibilities

• Provide global operational leadership across metallurgical plants with focus on safety and efficiency.
• Lead strategic planning, KPI deployment, and continuous improvement programs.
• Drive growth initiatives, mergers, acquisitions, and international project execution.
• Forge partnerships with stakeholders to expand market presence and supply chain integration.
• Mentor and develop a high-performing global operations and business development team.
