Job summary

Barakat Group of Companies is seeking an experienced export sales leader to develop new markets and expand its international distributor network. You will manage cold-chain logistics for ice cream and ambient beverages while driving profitable growth across GCC and MEA.

The role requires a proven track record in FMCG export sales, distributor onboarding, and cross-functional collaboration on pricing, promotions and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of FMCG export sales and distribution experience.
• Experience in Frozen Foods (Ice Cream) and Ambient/Shelf-Stable Beverages.
• Proven track record in international market expansion across GCC and MEA.
• Strong experience in distributor identification, onboarding and performance management.
• Experience managing export territory P&L and negotiating high-value distribution agreements.
• Knowledge of international food import regulations, customs procedures and labeling requirements.
• Strong negotiation, relationship management and commercial analysis skills.
• Ability to develop route-to-market strategies and achieve export growth targets.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute export market-entry strategies across GCC, MEA and other high-growth international markets.
• Identify and onboard international distribution partners and manage their performance.
• Oversee frozen and ambient product logistics and ensure cold-chain integrity across markets (-18°C where required).
• Negotiate distribution agreements and drive sustainable export revenue growth.
• Manage export territory profitability, pricing and commercial terms with distributors.
• Collaborate with distributors on local trade marketing, promotions and market development initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with international food import regulations, customs procedures and labeling requirements.
