The role spans market research, conference development, partnerships, sales and delivery across B2B events; you will represent the company at conferences and manage cross‑functional, international teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in B2B conferences, exhibitions, international events, or related industries.
• Strong understanding of European B2B markets and business environments.
• Demonstrated ability to identify and commercialize new market opportunities.
• Strong commercial, strategic, and analytical capabilities.
• Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills with senior decision-makers.
• Experience managing cross-functional and international teams.
• Excellent spoken and written English.
• Willingness to travel internationally.

Responsibilities

• Identify high-potential industries, countries, and conference opportunities across European markets.
• Develop strategies for launching and scaling international conference portfolios.
• Evaluate market demand, commercial potential, competition, and industry trends.
• Build relationships with corporations, government bodies, associations, and senior industry leaders.
• Work with commercial teams to drive sponsorship, delegate, and partnership revenue.
• Guide conference positioning, market entry, and long-term growth strategies.
• Collaborate with production, marketing, sales, and operations teams from concept to delivery.
• Represent Cogent Solutions at conferences, meetings, and international business engagements.
• Monitor event performance and identify opportunities for expansion into new markets.
