Job summary

Cogent Solutions in Dubai is seeking a Director to drive APAC-focused commercial growth across conferences, exhibitions, and executive-event platforms. You will own high-value sponsorship sales, strategic partnerships, and revenue development, reporting to senior leadership.

The role requires 10+ years of B2B sales, a strong network of senior decision-makers, exceptional negotiation skills, and willingness to travel internationally.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of B2B commercial, sponsorship, exhibition, or conference-sales experience.
• Proven experience selling large-scale exhibitions is a must.
• Strong track record of achieving substantial revenue targets.
• Experience developing business across APAC markets is strongly preferred.
• Excellent spoken and written English.
• Willingness to travel internationally.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute commercial growth strategies across APAC markets.
• Build and manage a strong pipeline of sponsors, exhibitors, and strategic partners.
• Lead high-value sponsorship and exhibition sales negotiations.
• Identify new commercial opportunities across conferences, exhibitions, and boardrooms.
• Develop relationships with senior decision-makers across multinational organizations.
• Create tailored commercial proposals and partnership packages.
• Establish partnerships with associations, government organizations, and industry bodies.
• Monitor sales performance, pipelines, forecasts, and revenue targets.
• Support expansion into new industries and geographical markets.
• Lead major commercial negotiations and strategic accounts.
