The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Business/Finance/Insurance, UAE regulatory knowledge, 3+ years in insurance, and a preference for CII. The successful candidate will excel in communication and thrive under pressure in a dynamic market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Insurance or related field is required.
• CII qualification is preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in insurance.
• Strong understanding of general insurance products, market dynamics, and regulatory requirements in the UAE.

Responsibilities

• Handle enquiries and quotations for General Insurance SME policies.
• Identify and analyse clients' insurance needs in collaboration with CRM and recommend suitable coverage options.
• Generate quotations from insurer portals, underwriting tools, or directly from insurers.
• Negotiate policy terms and pricing with insurance companies and underwriters on behalf of clients.
• Prepare proposals, presentations, and support materials for client renewals and new business opportunities.
• Manage the renewal process for assigned clients, including proposal preparation and coordination with carriers.
• Maintain accurate placement data trackers to ensure up-to-date records.
• Oversee policy placements, verifying documents received from clients and submitting placements to insurers.
• Review and process initial invoice bookings (insurer and client) while ensuring compliance with KYC requirements and internal booking processes.
• Ensure strict adherence to company policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance standards.
• Maintain in-depth technical knowledge of new and existing insurance products, ensuring credibility as a subject matter expert.
• Build and strengthen relationships with underwriters to optimize service delivery and compliance.
• Stay informed about market trends, industry dynamics, and insurance cycles to enhance strategic decision-making and client advisory.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and regulatory/compliance requirements.
