Job summary

Rixos Bab Al Bahr in Ras Al Khaimah invites an energetic Receptionist / Guest Relations Agent to welcome guests and ensure a memorable stay. You will greet arrivals, manage check-in and check-out, respond to inquiries, and coordinate with services to meet guest requests.

You should be proficient with reservation systems (PMS such as Opera or Fidelio), communicate clearly, stay calm under pressure, and uphold a guest-first attitude in a luxury environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Receptionist / Guest Relations Agent or similar front office role.
• 0-2 years related experience or training preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Build positive relationships with guests to ensure satisfaction.
• Address guest requests, complaints, and feedback promptly and courteously.
• Follow up with guests during their stay to ensure comfort and resolve issues.
• Handle special requests (VIP guests, anniversaries, birthdays, special needs).
• Assist guests with travel arrangements, transportation, tours, and local information.
• Promote hotel services, facilities, and ongoing offers.
• Greet guests on arrival and manage check-in/check-out smoothly.
• Handle room reservations, cancellations, and amendments.
• Answer phone calls, emails, and walk-in inquiries professionally.
• Process payments, billing and prepare invoices.
• Maintain accurate guest records and update the hotel management system.
