Job summary

Rixos Bab Al Bahr is seeking a Receptionist/Guest Relations Agent to build positive relationships with guests and ensure high satisfaction. You will address requests and follow up during stays, providing helpful information and facilitating check-in/out.

Experience in front desk or guest services and strong communication skills are preferred. Knowledge of Opera/Fidelio and multilingual abilities are a plus; UAE-based role with hotel operations.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years experience in front desk or guest services.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of hotel PMS systems (Opera, Fidelio).

Responsibilities

• Build positive relationships with guests to ensure a high level of satisfaction.
• Address guest requests, complaints, and feedback promptly and courteously.
• Follow up with guests during their stay to ensure comfort and resolve issues.
• Handle special requests (VIP guests, anniversaries, birthdays, special needs).
• Assist guests with travel arrangements, transportation, tours, and local information.
• Promote hotel services, facilities, and ongoing offers.
• Greet guests warmly on arrival and ensure a smooth check-in and check-out process.
• Handle room reservations, cancellations, and amendments.
• Answer phone calls, emails, and walk-in inquiries professionally.
• Process payments, billing, and prepare invoices.
• Maintain accurate guest records and update the hotel management system.
