Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Foundation Stage and British curriculum requirements.
• Experience coordinating Foundation Stage teaching and curriculum across a school.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate teaching and learning across Foundation Stage classes.
• Support teachers in planning age-appropriate and engaging learning experiences.
• Review lesson plans and curriculum coverage.
• Ensure consistency in early years teaching standards.
• Support implementation of British curriculum expectations in FS.
• Guide teachers on early literacy and numeracy approaches.
• Promote play-based and child-centered learning strategies.
• Monitor classroom practice and provide feedback to teachers.
• Assist with observations and professional development.
• Share effective early years teaching strategies across FS team.
• Coordinate schemes of work and phase-level planning.
• Differentiate instruction to meet learning needs.
• Monitor student progress and review assessment information.
• Identify children needing additional support or intervention.
• Coordinate learning resources and classroom materials.
• Encourage appropriate use of educational technology.
• Support safeguarding and student wellbeing.
