Job summary

Client of AW Connect seeks an experienced Fit-Out Project Manager to lead end-to-end interior fit-out delivery across Dubai. This hands-on role focuses on commercial outcomes, planning, mobilisation, execution, and final handover with strong UAE market experience.

You will manage a lifecycle from identifying opportunities through to delivery, ensuring quality, programme adherence and budget control in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or related discipline.
• 8+ years of relevant experience in the UAE fit-out market.
• Proven experience managing commercial interior fit-out projects from tender to handover.
• Experience with high-end retail, showrooms, hospitality, offices or other commercial interiors.
• Strong knowledge of UAE construction standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead fit-out projects from opportunity through to completion and handover.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Fit-Out Project Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of interior fit-out projects across Dubai. This is a hands-on and commercially focused position for someone who understands the full project lifecycle from identifying and securing opportunities through planning, mobilisation, execution, commercial management and final handover. The successful candidate will have strong UAE market experience and a proven track record delivering commercial fit-out projects to high standards of quality, programme and budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead fit-out projects from initial commercial opportunity through to completion and handover
• Review project requirements, scope, drawings, specifications and commercial parameters before mobilisation
• Work closely with clients, consultants, designers, suppliers and subcontractors to establish project requirements and delivery plans
• Develop and manage project programmes, budgets, procurement schedules and resource plans
• Take ownership of project cost control, variations, valuations, subcontractor payments and commercial performance
• Coordinate procurement of materials, finishes, equipment and specialist subcontractors
• Manage site teams, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure projects are delivered according to programme and agreed specifications
• Monitor project progress and proactively identify delays, risks, cost issues and technical challenges
• Lead regular project meetings and provide clear progress updates to senior management and clients
• Ensure drawings, materials, samples and finishes are reviewed and approved in line with project requirements
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and quality throughout execution
• Coordinate inspections, snagging, testing and commissioning through to final handover
• Manage client expectations and resolve project issues quickly and commercially
• Ensure all works comply with UAE regulations, HSE requirements, approved drawings and relevant industry standards
• Support business development by providing technical and commercial input during tenders, site visits and client discussions
• Identify opportunities for value engineering while protecting quality, programme and client requirements
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors and suppliers within the UAE fit-out market

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or a related discipline.
• 8+ years of relevant experience, with substantial experience in the UAE fit-out market.
• Proven experience managing commercial interior fit-out projects from tender/commercial stage through to handover.
• Experience with high-end retail, showrooms, hospitality, offices, F&B or other commercial interiors is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of UAE construction and fit-out practices, authorities and market standards.
• Solid commercial understanding, including project budgets, variations, procurement and subcontractor management.
• Strong knowledge of construction programmes, project controls and site coordination.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders and subcontractors.
• Excellent negotiation, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage site and project teams effectively.
• UAE driving licence is preferred.
