Career Nest Academy in Dubai is seeking a Cook / Kitchen Staff to join a premium Japanese fine-dining restaurant. The role focuses on precise execution of recipes, high-quality Wagyu and Japanese seafood, and strict kitchen standards under the Head Chef.

We value discipline, reliability, and strong knife skills, with a path from Cook to higher chef roles based on performance. On-site work with visa sponsorship and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Background in Japanese cuisine, fine-dining, or five-star hotel kitchens preferred.
• Experience with premium Wagyu and Japanese seafood is an advantage.
• Culinary qualification or professional cooking training preferred, but hands-on experience accepted.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook dishes according to recipes, standards, and leadership guidance.
• Complete mise en place and keep station organized for fine-dining service.
• Handle Wagyu, seafood, and high-quality ingredients with care and proper portioning.
• Maintain precise cooking, seasoning, temperatures, and plating; ensure dish quality before service.
• Follow strict kitchen hygiene, storage, labeling, and stock rotation procedures.
• Communicate allergies and prevent cross-contact during service.
• Coordinate with other stations and service team for timely delivery and communication.
• Keep work areas clean and monitor ingredient use to minimize waste.
