Job summary

The Career Nest is seeking a disciplined Cook / Kitchen Staff for our premium Japanese fine-dining restaurant in Dubai. You will work under the Head Chef with Wagyu and Japanese seafood, focusing on precise execution and ingredient quality.

Requirements include at least 2 years in a professional kitchen, English proficiency, and a willingness to learn within a high‑caliber team. UAE work visa eligibility and up to 30 days’ notice are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of professional kitchen experience
• Background in Japanese cuisine, fine-dining, or five-star hotel kitchens preferred
• Working English sufficient; Japanese a plus
• Eligible for UAE work visa; notice period up to 30 days

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook dishes according to recipes, standards, and leadership instructions
• Complete daily mise en place and organize station for fine-dining service
• Handle premium Wagyu, Japanese seafood, and high-quality ingredients with care
• Maintain precise cooking, seasoning, temperatures and plating; ensure quality before serving
• Follow strict kitchen hygiene, storage, labeling, and stock-rotation procedures
• Communicate allergies and prevent cross-contact
• Coordinate with kitchen and service teams to deliver dishes on time
• Keep work areas clean, minimize waste, and participate in training and tastings
