Job summary

The successful candidate will lead planning, budgeting, forecasting and long-term strategy, delivering commercial insights to drive growth and profitability across regional markets.

We expect ~15 years of finance experience, ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualifications, multinational exposure, and a hands-on leadership style to influence senior stakeholders.

We are partnering with an established FTSE Listed multinational organisation to appoint an experienced Finance Director to oversee financial performance and support strategic decision-making across the GCC. The business operates across multiple regional markets and is seeking a commercially focused finance leader who can combine strategic thinking with strong financial and operational expertise. This is an opportunity to join an international organisation in a senior leadership capacity, playing an important role in driving business performance, strengthening financial governance and supporting continued regional growth.

Job Responsibilities

• Partner with regional leadership to develop and execute business strategies, supporting revenue growth, profitability and operational performance.
• Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and long-term strategic planning across the region.
• Provide commercial insight and financial analysis to support business decisions, investment opportunities and growth initiatives.
• Work collaboratively with commercial and operational teams to improve margins, optimise costs and strengthen business performance.
• Oversee regional financial reporting, accounting, governance, internal controls and regulatory compliance.
• Drive working capital improvements, cash flow management and financial risk mitigation.
• Develop management reporting frameworks and financial analysis to provide greater visibility of business performance.
• Support business transformation, process improvements and the development of financial systems and reporting capabilities.
• Lead and develop the regional finance function, building a high-performing team and strengthening financial accountability.
• Build effective relationships with regional and international stakeholders, providing financial guidance and supporting strategic decision-making.

The Candidate

• Degree in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline, supported by a recognised professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA or CIMA.
• Approximately 15 years of progressive finance experience, including significant exposure to senior leadership positions.
• Experience gained within a multinational organisation, ideally operating across multiple markets and complex business environments.
• Demonstrated experience in commercial finance, strategic planning, financial control and operational performance management.
• Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and support strategic business decisions.
• Proven experience managing regional financial performance, budgeting, forecasting and cash flow.
• Excellent understanding of financial governance, reporting standards and internal controls.
• Strong analytical capabilities, financial modelling expertise and experience working with ERP systems.
• A commercially focused, hands-on leadership style, with the ability to operate at both strategic and operational levels.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience leading and developing finance teams.
• Previous GCC experience would be advantageous.
