Qualifications

• Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting and long-term planning.

We are seeking an experienced Finance Director to join a dynamic, growth-oriented organization based in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE.

This is a senior leadership opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional who can provide strategic financial direction, strengthen financial governance, and support the organization's long-term growth objectives.

The successful candidate will work closely with executive leadership to drive financial planning, optimize financial performance, manage risk, and ensure the effective delivery of financial operations.

The role requires a combination of strategic thinking, financial expertise, commercial acumen, and hands-on leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Financial Leadership

• Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the organization's business objectives and growth plans.
• Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
• Partner with executive leadership to provide financial insights that support strategic decision-making.
• Collaborate with commercial teams to develop pricing strategies and assess the financial feasibility of business initiatives.

Financial Reporting, Governance & Compliance

• Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, management reports, and financial performance analysis.
• Ensure compliance with applicable financial regulations, tax requirements, internal controls, and audit obligations.
• Establish effective financial governance frameworks and proactively identify and manage financial risks.
• Implement cost-control measures to improve operational efficiency and profitability.
• Drive comprehensive management information systems (MIS) to support data-driven decision-making.

Cash Flow & Working Capital Management

• Oversee cash flow, liquidity, and working capital management to ensure financial stability and operational continuity.
• Manage relationships with financial institutions and optimize banking facilities.
• Support the financial evaluation of investment opportunities and capital expenditure initiatives.

Financial Operations & Process Improvement

• Oversee the development and implementation of robust financial systems, reporting tools, and internal processes.
• Collaborate with Shared Services teams to ensure the effective delivery of transactional finance functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and financial reporting.
• Monitor service delivery against agreed service level agreements (SLAs) and identify opportunities for process optimization.
• Drive continuous improvement across financial operations to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and transparency.

Leadership & Stakeholder Management

• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, high performance, and continuous improvement.
• Partner with commercial, operational, and executive leadership teams to provide financial guidance and support business objectives.
• Maintain effective relationships with external auditors, regulatory authorities, financial institutions, and other key stakeholders.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A master's degree is an advantage.
• Professional qualifications such as CPA, CFA, or ACCA are preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive finance experience, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership capacity.
• Proven experience in financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and long-term financial planning.
• Strong understanding of financial governance, regulatory compliance, internal controls, and risk management.
• Experience working with or overseeing Shared Services finance models is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to partner with executive leadership and provide strategic financial guidance.
• Strong commercial acumen, analytical capabilities, and decision-making skills.
