Job summary

Confidential Company in Dubai seeks a Finance Director to lead the regional finance function and partner with senior stakeholders to drive profitable growth and achieve strategic objectives. You will provide financial leadership through performance management, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, profitability analysis and decision support in a dynamic matrix environment.

The role oversees statutory reporting, governance and compliance, ensures strong controls, and leads cross-functional teams

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA/CPA/CIMA or equivalent professional qualification.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• MBA or equivalent is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional Finance function and partner with senior leadership to drive profitable growth and strategic objectives.
• Provide commercial insights and prepare business cases for investments and strategic initiatives.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, performance management, and profitability analysis.
• Lead monthly financial reporting and performance reviews; improve reporting quality and insights.
• Ensure statutory financial statements, governance and compliance; strengthen internal controls.
• Coordinate with Shared Services, Treasury, Tax and Corporate Finance for end-to-end processes.
• Monitor KPIs on profitability, revenue growth and cash flow; support commercial negotiations.

The candidate will lead the regional Finance function and partner closely with senior business stakeholders to drive profitable commercial growth and achieve strategic business objectives The role is responsible for providing financial leadership through performance management financial reporting budgeting forecasting profitability analysis and commercial decision support In addition the Finance Director will oversee statutory financial reporting governance and compliance while ensuring strong financial controls across the business This position requires a commercially astute finance leader with excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence business decisions in a dynamic matrix-driven environment

Key Responsibilities

Commercial Finance

Business Partnering

Partner with senior leadership to provide commercial insights that support strategic decision-making Prepare business cases and financial evaluations for investment opportunities and strategic initiatives Manage and optimize working capital Support key commercial negotiations from a financial perspective Develop and monitor financial and operational KPIs focusing on profitability revenue growth and cash flow Monitor business performance identify trends risks and growth opportunities Present financial updates and business performance to executive leadership and key stakeholders

Financial Reporting

Lead monthly financial reporting and performance reviews Ensure accurate timely and insightful management reporting Work closely with regional finance teams to improve reporting quality and provide meaningful business insights Analyze financial performance and recommend actions to improve results

Budgeting & Forecasting

Lead annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes Deliver robust financial planning aligned with corporate objectives

Financial Control

Oversee the preparation and submission of statutory financial statements Ensure compliance with local tax regulations in coordination with corporate tax teams Manage regulatory reporting requirements Strengthen governance internal controls and financial compliance across the organization

Leadership

Qualifications
