Job summary

Al Islami Foods seeks a Network and Infrastructure Administrator to provide essential IT support and manage the Dubai network environment. You will handle LAN/WAN, wireless coverage, firewalls, VPNs and Windows Server/365 administration to keep operations secure and efficient.

The role requires CCNA or equivalent, strong TCP/IP skills, and documented backup/patch procedures, with a willingness to participate in after-hours support and to maintain thorough network documentation.

Qualifications

• Two to three years in network and infrastructure administration with hands-on end-user support.
• CCNA or equivalent with practical switching and wireless experience.
• Enterprise firewall administration including VPN and remote access.
• LAN and WAN troubleshooting with TCP/IP, DNS and DHCP knowledge.
• Windows Server and Active Directory – users, groups, permissions.
• Microsoft 365 administration – Exchange, Teams, SharePoint and licensing.
• Backup operations and restore testing documented.
• Patch management and endpoint protection administration.
• Strong service orientation and thorough documentation.
• Willingness to participate in after-hours support roster.
• Strong spoken and written English.

Responsibilities

• Provide first and second-line support to all users — logging, triage, resolution and closure within SLAs.
• Administer and maintain LAN, switching and wireless network including performance and coverage.
• Operate and maintain firewalls, remote access and VPN services under change control.
• Administer Windows servers — monitoring, patching, updates, capacity and housekeeping.
• Monitor backups and perform scheduled restore testing with documented evidence.
• Administer Microsoft 365 — users, groups, licences, Exchange, Teams and SharePoint.
• Execute joiner/mover/leaver processes, access provisioning and revocation, and access-review evidence.
• Support endpoints and peripherals — laptops, desktops, printers, scanners, mobiles and meeting-room equipment.
• Maintain IT asset and licence register, inventory and procurement records.
• Maintain patch compliance, endpoint protection and credential hygiene.
• Maintain network documentation, including cabling and configuration records.
• Participate in an after-hours support roster.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Two to three years in network and infrastructure administration with hands-on end-user support

• CCNA or equivalent, with practical switching and wireless experience (Cisco, Aruba or equivalent)

• Enterprise firewall administration (Fortinet or equivalent), including VPN and remote access

• LAN and WAN troubleshooting, with working knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS and DHCP

• Windows Server and Active Directory — users, groups, Group Policy and permissions

• Microsoft 365 administration — Exchange, Teams, SharePoint and licensing

• Backup operations and documented restore testing

• Patch management and endpoint protection administration

• Strong service orientation, patience with non-technical users, and disciplined documentation

• Willingness to participate in an out-of-hours support roster

• Strong spoken and written English
