Job summary

Six Construct, the largest Belgian construction company operating in the Middle East, seeks a General Maintenance & Facilities Assistant in Dubai. You will maintain a safe, clean, and well-organized site environment, supporting housekeeping, landscaping, and basic MEP tasks under supervision.

Qualifications

• HSE knowledge and safe operation in an operational environment.
• Experience in housekeeping, cleaning, landscaping and facility support.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions and complete tasks on time.
• Attention to detail and commitment to clean, safe work areas.
• Able to work independently and in a fast-paced team.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning and housekeeping across designated areas.
• Carry out road sweeping and cleaning of internal and external roads.
• Support landscaping activities including watering, trimming, pruning and irrigation monitoring.
• Assist with pest control and report signs of infestation.
• Clean conveyors, transfer stations, IBA areas and other process facilities.
• Ensure proper waste collection, segregation and disposal per site procedures.
• Conduct routine inspections and report defects or abnormal conditions.
• Assist with basic MEP maintenance as directed by the Supervisor.
• Safely operate cleaning equipment and machinery.
• Complete tasks according to schedules and timelines.
• Maintain accurate records and logs.
• Follow HSE requirements and permit-to-work procedures.
• Participate in toolbox talks, training and drills.
• Support emergency response and site recovery when required.
