Job summary

Swissotel Al Ghurair & Swissotel Living Al Ghurair in Dubai seek a F&B Captain to lead wait staff and ensure service standards are met. You will supervise the team, train colleagues, and uphold the outlet’s performance guidelines to deliver exceptional hospitality.

You will develop in-depth knowledge of the outlet menu, assist Guests with recommendations, and handle inquiries with professionalism in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Excellence in strategic leadership and team management
• Creative and passionate about food and customer service
• Able to work in a high-pressure environment
• Minimum 2-3 years of previous experience in hotel industry is preferred

Responsibilities

• Supervises the activities of the Waiters and Busboys in assigned area
• Perform all necessary tasks to service Food & Beverage according to the standard of performance manual of the Hotel
• Acquire in depth knowledge of the Food & Beverage menu of the assigned Outlet in order to assist and provide advice to Guests
• Practice good customer relations and attend to customer complaints and queries satisfactorily
• Ensure the Outlet is set-up for service and supervise for a smooth operation
• Direct and supervise the service team to ensure that all duties are performed as per standards
• Ensure that all Employees have received adequate training to perform their duties
• Ensure proper organization, planning and control of supplies and maintain concise record of all beverage stock in order to ensure that the required is available
• Checks the mise en place prior and after the operation
• Coordinates with the Headwaiter or Outlet Manager to plan and conduct skills training constantly
• Performs other duties assigned by his / her supervisor
• Minimum 2-3 years of previous experience in hotel industry is preferred
