Job summary

Dubai World Trade Centre is seeking a Night Operations Coordinator to supervise venue activities, coordinate with clients and internal teams, and manage contractor performance during events. The role requires onsite presence, strong customer service focus, and the ability to respond to issues or emergencies after hours.

The ideal candidate holds a university degree and a minimum of two years in event operations, with fluency in English and solid computer skills.

Core Duties and Responsibilities

• Act as principal interface between the client and DWTC's internal departments, and its nominated contractors at night, when Event Planner is out of duty
• Establish effective relationships with clients, instilling the confidence necessary for repeat business
• Encourage a high level of customer service awareness from all customers/public facing staff
• Take ownership of activities taking place at the venue at night, answering queries, monitoring the performance of service providers and effectively dealing with complaints and emergency situations

Infrastructure Related

• Emergency response and escalation management
• Ensure compliance with DWTC policies, procedures, and HSE standards
• Implement risk control strategies and incident management
• Monitor operational costs and drive cost-saving initiatives
• Prepare night shift reports and analyze key operational KPIs

Operating Environment

• The position is based on a duty pattern of 5 nights / week as per business requirements and agreed roster
• Office based at 50%, the job requires a lot of onsite presence throughout the venue and unsociable working hours (mostly evenings, weekends and public holidays) as per each event's operational requirements
• Events are taking place mostly indoors however some elements may take place outdoors, and some events may take place in offsite venues managed by DWTC. Meetings may also take place at clients' premises

Minimum of 2-year experience in the event industry in an operational role
