Job summary

Workato in Sharjah is seeking an Executive Chef for Indian cuisine to lead the kitchen, craft authentic menus, and ensure top-quality dishes. You will manage staff, monitor quality, and maintain high hygiene standards in a fast-paced setting.

The ideal candidate has at least five years in a similar role, strong leadership, and fluency in English; Malayalam knowledge is a plus. This role offers visa sponsorship and accommodation in Sharjah.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years experience as an Executive Chef in an Indian restaurant.
• Proven track record of creating successful menus with authentic Indian dishes.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train kitchen staff.
• Knowledge of food cost control measures and inventory management.
• Excellent communication skills in English (Malayalam is a plus).

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of kitchen staff, including training, scheduling, and providing feedback
• Develop new menu items and ensure consistency in preparation and presentation
• Monitor food quality and ensure adherence to health and safety standards
• Control costs by closely monitoring inventory levels and minimizing waste
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked kitchen
