AccorHotel in Dubai seeks an Events IT Assistant to support the IT Manager, ensuring connectivity for meetings and events and upholding brand quality standards. The role focuses on delivering top-tier technical services for guest experiences and smooth event operations.

The candidate will monitor technologies, maintain AV/telecoms gear, and work closely with hotel departments to resolve issues and drive innovations in event technology.

Responsibilities

• Customer relations: ensure arrangements and setup are ready for events and intervene if problems arise.
• Professional Techniques / Production: monitor developments and prepare connectivity specifications for meetings.
• Team management: form a duo with IT Manager and Event Manager, supervise external staff as needed.
• Commercial / Sales: assist promotion of the Meeting offer with high-quality services and proactive suggestions.
• Management and administration: contribute to Events revenue by proposing new technological solutions.
• Hygiene / Personal safety / Environment: ensure equipment safety and compliance with regulations; keep workplace clean.
