Job summary

SO/ in Dubai seeks an Audio Visual Technician to be the technical backbone of events, meetings, and guest experiences. You will set up and operate AV systems, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with multiple departments to ensure flawless presentations and performances.

With a focus on reliability and innovation, you will maintain equipment, support VIP guests, and stay current with industry best practices while upholding high service standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of professional AV operations in luxury hotel, resort, or high-end events.
• Proficient with professional audio, video, lighting, and presentation systems.
• Experience servicing events, conferences, weddings, and corporate functions.
• Strong troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and basic repair skills.
• Safety awareness with electrical practices and proper equipment handling.
• Excellent communication and ability to stay calm under pressure while delivering service.
• Professional English communication across all stakeholder interactions.
• Willing to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and dismantle professional AV equipment for meetings and events.
• Operate sound, lighting, projection, video systems, and LED displays during live events.
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections of all AV equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve AV issues promptly.
• Provide on-site technical support for VIP guests and executive meetings.
• Coordinate with Events, Banquets, IT, and Engineering teams to meet requirements.
• Maintain equipment inventory and records and support installation and integration tasks.
• Coordinate with external AV suppliers as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment and appearance.
• Respond promptly to service requests to minimize disruption.
• Contribute to a collaborative, proactive team atmosphere.
