Job summary

Al-Futtaim Automotive is seeking a skilled Personal Service Technician for Polestar across the UAE. You will drive the complete workshop journey—from service booking, vehicle reception, diagnosis, and repair to invoicing and handover.

The role requires strong EV knowledge, high-voltage experience, and a dedication to first-time fix quality. You will work within the Polestar Aftersales team to uphold industry-leading service standards and deliver exceptional customer experiences, while coaching

Qualifications

IMI Light Vehicle Master Technician (Level 3-4) or equivalent.
Advanced OEM certification such as Diagnostic Master or Gold Technician.
Minimum 6–7 years as a Light Vehicle Technician.
Minimum 2 years as a Diagnostic Technician in a dealership.

Responsibilities

Perform advanced diagnostics, repairs, maintenance, and accessory fitment per OEM standards.
Manage end-to-end customer service journey from booking to handover.
Diagnose and resolve vehicle concerns using EV/high-voltage diagnostic tools.
Adhere to FIR process to maximize first-time fix and customer satisfaction.
Create and manage warranty documentation and claims.
Complete work order administration for warranty, goodwill, insurance, and leasing cases.
Maintain detailed technical reports and documentation.
Ensure workshop tools and diagnostic systems are calibrated and up to date.
Support junior technicians through coaching and training.
Adhere to HSSE, 5S, quality, and workshop standards.
