European Marketplace Growth Lead — Zalando & Veepee

Job summary

AW Connect is expanding its digital commerce team in Dubai to support growth across its own online store and leading European marketplaces beyond Amazon.

You will drive revenue and margin targets for Zalando, Veepee, ASOS, and future launches, negotiating activity and coordinating cross-functional teams.

Fluent French and English are required; experience managing these platforms and using AI tools for performance analysis is preferred.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in marketplace or eCommerce account management.
• Experience with Zalando and/or Veepee is preferred.
• Strong commercial and analytical skills with P&L understanding.

Responsibilities

• Own revenue and margin targets for each marketplace in your scope.
• Lead marketplace launches, including contracts, setup, assortment selection and go-live coordination.
• Develop platform-specific assortment and pricing strategies aligned with brand positioning and retail partnerships.
• Negotiate commercial activity with platform account managers, including sales events, campaigns, visibility and advertising.
• Analyse sell-through, conversion, returns and margin after platform fees.
• Coordinate stock allocation and forecasting with the supply team.
• Coordinate the Marketplace Operations Specialist, content team and external marketplace agency.
• Identify and assess opportunities to expand onto additional platforms.
• Use AI tools to support performance analysis, demand forecasting, pricing and negotiation preparation.
