Job summary

Global Software Solutions Group in Abu Dhabi is seeking an IT Support professional to install, configure, monitor applications, systems and databases within a federal/government banking environment. The contract is 6 months with renewal and immediate joiners are preferred.

You will perform daily system monitoring, backups, Level-1 support, and incident reporting, while ensuring uptime and security across on-premises data center components.

Qualifications

• Fluent Arabic speaker (spoken and written).
• Available to join immediately (≤1 week).
• Experience with federal/government entities in the UAE (banks/government).
• 0–2 years in a Data Centre/IT Support role.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily system monitoring — verify hardware, server resources, and key process integrity.
• Perform daily backup operations and ensure recovery media created.
• Provide Level-1 support across teams and troubleshoot issues.
• Monitor performance and capacity of IT systems and datacenter components.
• Run core banking end-of-day activities and relevant reports.
• Respond to IT, datacenter, and DB alerts and hardware malfunctions.
• Track, document, and compile incident reports.
