Job summary

CLEANCO TRADING, IMPORTING & SERVICES L.L.C in the UAE is seeking an experienced Employee Welfare & Engagement Manager to support a large, multicultural blue-collar workforce across labour camps. The role focuses on welfare, wellbeing and engagement, and does not include responsibility for camp facilities.

You will regularly visit labour camps, develop welfare initiatives, organize sports, cultural and CSR activities, and work with HR and Operations to improve morale, engagement and retention

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years in Employee Welfare or Engagement.
• Experience with large blue-collar, multicultural workforces in the UAE.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to communicate in several UAE-relevant languages preferred.

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular camp visits and engage directly with employees
• Develop and implement employee welfare, wellbeing, and engagement initiatives
• Organize sports, cultural, social, recreational, and CSR activities
• Act as a trusted point of contact for employee welfare concerns
• Work closely with HR and Operations to improve employee morale, engagement, and retention
• Develop employee recognition and long-service initiatives
• Monitor welfare trends and recommend improvements to management

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in Employee Welfare, Engagement, or Employee Relations.
• Strong experience working with large blue-collar and multicultural workforces in the UAE.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to communicate in several languages relevant to the UAE labour market is highly preferred.
• Willing to regularly visit labour camps across the UAE.
