Employee Banking Portfolio Manager – Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Job role at RAKBANK, focused on employee banking portfolio management, customer acquisition, cross‑selling, and portfolio growth while maintaining compliance and service quality.

Salary: 18,000‑28,000 AED (estimated)

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform sales activities for potential and existing customers to achieve assigned financial targets.
  • Source primary and related banking products through effective customer engagement and relationship management.
  • Oversee department operations while ensuring alignment with established policies, procedures, and performance standards.
  • Coordinate, direct, and control resources to achieve strong performance without compromising service quality.
  • Participate in developing and implementing departmental compliance monitoring and control processes.
  • Ensure sales and portfolio activities comply with legal, regulatory, ethical, and internal policy requirements.
  • Expand the Employee Banking portfolio by onboarding new companies across relevant market segments.
  • Manage and grow the existing Employee Banking portfolio through structured engagement and relationship development.
  • Identify cross‑sell and up‑sell opportunities through regular client visits and portfolio reviews.
  • Strengthen client retention by building trusted relationships with companies and key decision makers.
  • Establish company partnerships and promote RAKBANK's brand to support sales and portfolio growth.
  • Initiate and manage promotional activities, group meetings, and company engagement sessions.
  • Generate new sales opportunities through targeted strategies, networking, referrals, and direct client interaction.
  • Maintain high standards of service by meeting customer expectations for efficiency, accuracy, timeliness, and professionalism.
  • Deepen customer relationships and improve loyalty through consistent service quality and proactive follow‑up.
  • Guide and support new team members through on‑the‑job assistance and practical advice.
  • Help team members manage job‑related challenges and improve daily sales effectiveness.
  • Track portfolio activity, sales performance, conversion opportunities, client visits, and relationship outcomes.
  • Support achievement of department targets by contributing to pipeline growth and portfolio productivity.
  • Maintain strong awareness of retail banking products and relevant financial services solutions.
  • Uphold the bank's policies, ethics, customer service standards, governance expectations, and code of conduct at all times.
Ideal Profile
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Banking, Sales, or a related field.
  • MBA is preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in banking or financial services.
  • Experience in Business Banking, Employee Banking, Retail Banking portfolio management, or relationship management is preferred.
  • Good knowledge of retail banking products and customer acquisition practices.
  • Proven ability to manage client relationships and grow a banking portfolio.
  • Strong focus on achieving sales targets, objectives, portfolio growth, and revenue performance.
  • Customer‑centric approach with dedication to understanding and meeting customer needs.
  • Strong relationship‑building skills with the ability to manage professional client and company partnerships.
