Job summary

Qualifications

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Manager to lead and oversee all electrical works for road and infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, executing, and supervising electrical installations, ensuring compliance with project specifications, quality standards, safety regulations, and project schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all electrical activities related to road and infrastructure projects.
• Supervise the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems.
• Oversee construction of:
• Traffic signal systems
• Electrical duct banks
• Low Voltage (LV) and Medium Voltage (MV) cable networks
• Feeder pillars and electrical panels
• Utility diversions and electrical infrastructure
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, utility authorities, subcontractors, and project teams.
• Prepare and review electrical shop drawings, method statements, material submittals, and work schedules.
• Monitor project progress, productivity, quality, and budget.
• Ensure compliance with local authority requirements (ADDC, AADC, TRANSCO, Abu Dhabi Municipality, DMT, or relevant authorities).
• Manage procurement of electrical materials and equipment.
• Lead testing, commissioning, inspections, and handover activities.
• Resolve technical issues and provide engineering support to site teams.
• Ensure all works comply with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports for management.
• Mentor and supervise electrical engineers, supervisors, and foremen.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 10–15 years of experience in road and infrastructure projects.
• Minimum 5 years in a managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of: Street lighting systems, Traffic signals, MV/LV electrical distribution

Underground utilities, Electrical infrastructure construction, Testing & Commissioning.

• Experience working with government and infrastructure authorities.
• Excellent project management and leadership skills.
• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, Primavera P6/MS Project is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
