Job summary

China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation in Dubai is seeking an Electrical Engineer to prepare and implement electrical designs, and supervise installations for infrastructure projects.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering, a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, and strong knowledge of local regulations. Proficiency in AutoCAD and excellent coordination skills are required for successful project execution.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and implement electrical designs, shop drawings, and material submittals as per project specifications and RTA standards.
• Coordinate with authorities such as RTA, DEWA, Etisalat, DU, and Dubai Municipality for design approvals and inspections.
• Supervise site installation of electrical works including street lighting, ITS, power distribution, and related infrastructure systems.
• Ensure that all electrical installations meet safety and quality standards, adhering to local regulations and project requirements.
• Conduct inspections and testing for electrical systems prior to commissioning.
• Manage electrical documentation including as-built drawings, test reports, and method statements.
• Coordinate with civil, mechanical, and utility teams to resolve technical issues and ensure seamless project execution.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and assist in maintaining timelines and budgets.
• Support procurement by reviewing technical specifications and vendor submittals for electrical materials and equipment.

Qualifications
