Job summary

Azizi Developments, a leading Dubai-based developer, seeks an Electrical Design Engineer for our PODs Factory team. You will design and coordinate electrical systems for prefabricated and modular PODs, ensuring drawings are accurate for factory production and seamless site installation.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and at least 5 years in electrical design, with PODs or modular construction experience, UAE codes knowledge, and BIM coordination skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in electrical design.
• Experience in PODs, modular construction, prefabrication, or MEP projects preferred.
• Villa/residential project experience is acceptable.
• Good understanding of UAE electrical codes, standards, and authority requirements.
• Experience with BIM coordination and multidisciplinary projects.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical systems for prefabricated and modular PODs.
• Prepare electrical layouts, drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
• Coordinate electrical designs with architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines.
• Ensure designs comply with UAE codes, DEWA requirements, and project specifications.
• Develop designs suitable for factory production, assembly, transportation, and site installation.
• Review shop drawings, material submittals, and technical documentation.
• Identify and resolve design clashes and coordination issues.
• Coordinate with BIM, production, site, and project teams.
• Support testing, inspection, commissioning, and handover activities.
• Ensure design changes and revisions are properly incorporated into project documentation.
